Supports operational and clinical excellence across occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), and speech-language pathology (SLP) services within a defined region. This role partners closely with operations leaders and compliance to drive clinical outcomes, compliance, and financial success by providing education, training, and hands-on clinical support to field clinicians. The position blends remote work with targeted on-site interventions, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery. 

 

  • Provide clinical education, mentorship, and training across OT, PT, and SLP disciplines to promote clinical excellence including best practices of documentation and billing, regulatory compliance, and organizational initiatives. 
  • Identify gaps in clinical practice or knowledge and develop targeted interventions to improve performance and patient outcomes. 
  • Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes data to inform, grow, and refine clinical education, development strategies, and resource deployment. 
  • Create, curate, and deliver clinical education and training resources across a wide range of formats (e.g., digital modules, live sessions, written materials) to support clinician development and consistency of care. 
  • Provide discipline-specific clinical guidance, including but not limited to state-specific regulations, scope of practice parameters, and evidence-based recommendations for service delivery. 
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to align clinical resources and strategies with financial and operational goals. 
  • Deliver on-site and virtual clinical support as needed, including hands-on interventions, coaching, and observation to support field staff. 
  • Monitor clinical performance metrics and partner with leadership to address trends impacting quality or outcomes. 
  • Facilitate communication between operations and clinical teams to support problem-solving and continuous improvement as it relates to clinical excellence. 
  • Review clinical documentation, coding, and compliance efforts to reduce risk and maximize reimbursement integrity. 
  • Provides expert-level guidance and oversight in designated professional licensure. 
  • Provide clinical and operations leaders with insights on impact of clinical excellence on a regular cadence 
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and clinical best practices relevant to senior care rehabilitation.

Position requirements:

  • Licensed clinician (OT, or SLP) with active state license in practicing region.  
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in geriatric or senior living settings. 
  • Proven leadership, education, or mentorship experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and therapy service delivery in senior care. 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to travel within the region as requested by the Vice President of Operations. The work environment is a home office with travel to rehab clinics in senior living communities.  

 

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience collaborating with operations teams on performance improvement initiatives and areas of clinical excellence. 
  • Prior multi-disciplinary leadership or multi-site support experience. 
  • Advanced certifications in geriatric care, neurorehabilitation, or related specialties
